Indiana Dunes Tourism has embraced a comprehensive approach to encouraging responsible behaviors for visitors to the Indiana Dunes. “Love and Protect Indiana Dunes” is a customized adaption of the Travel Care Guidelines designed to meet the specific needs of this unique destination.

Visitors are encouraged to Love the Indiana Dunes – Like You Mean It. In addition to protecting the natural surroundings, supporting the locals, and encouraging visitors to be good guests, the program encourages travelers to give back when they visit by volunteering. Indiana Dunes also invites visitors to make a promise to protect and care for the Indiana Dunes. You can take the promise here.
