Many travelers are looking for ways to purposefully contribute in positive ways to the places they visit. Grenada’s Voluntourism Program invites travelers to engage in meaningful, community-driven projects across the tri-island nation of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. Designed to foster responsible travel, the initiative offers year-round opportunities in sectors like agriculture, environment, education, and health.

Environmental projects include coral reef and mangrove restoration, turtle research, lionfish hunts, and beach clean-ups. Volunteers can also participate in community learn-to-swim classes, assist at organic farms and animal shelters, and contribute to educational, health, and cultural programs.

The program emphasizes sustainability and community engagement, allowing visitors to make a tangible difference while connecting deeply with local culture. By participating, travelers not only contribute to the well-being of the residents of the islands but also gain enriching experiences that foster a greater understanding of Grenada’s unique heritage and environment.
